As a person who has always been burdened by a world that exoticizes my mixed heritage, I strive to make art that is personal and socially relevant. My artistic interests currently revolve around finding the functionality of spectacle, manifested through the physical investigation of the dynamic qualitative range of movement and character. Through solo and ensemble works, I explore shifting perspectives, examining relationships from personal to relational and cultural.
